Pakistan Foreign Minister Mahmood Qureshi has said that Pakistan has no intentions to interfere in the internal affairs of India. He also said that New Delhi should not issue an issue to Kashmiri separatist leader Mirwaiz Umar Farooq on his telephone conversation. India summoned Pakistan High Commissioner Sohail Mahmood. India had clarified to the High Commissioner that the negotiation on phone by Qureshi was a shameful attempt to break the unity of India. It violates India’s sovereignty and territorial integrity. Foreign Secretary Vijay Gokhale warned Mahmud that such behaviour will have the effect.

The Foreign Minister of Pakistan said that the election in India is an internal matter and if the new government wants to work with Pakistan then it will try to talk with it.

In New Delhi the Ministry of External Affairs said that all Jammu and Kashmir is integral part of India and will always be there.
