Telangana High Court-directed theaters and multiplexes do not permit children below 16 years of age to late-night movie shows. The Telangana High Court’s order prevents children below 16 from watching movies in multiplexes after 11 pm. Telangana High Court’s order is applicable to all theaters and multiplexes across the state.
The order bars children below 16 from entering theaters and multiplexes before 11 am and after 11 pm. The order is reportedly applicable to all the movies henceforth. Allowing kids to late-night shows impacts their mental and emotional well-being, HC noted.
