LJP chief Chirag Paswan on Sunday said Bihar CM Nitish Kumar was called "palturam" or turncoat due to his "frequent acts of paltimaar". Saying that Nitish had snapped ties with BJP and joined RJD earlier, Paswan added, "He may once again try to form next government with (RJD-led) Grand Alliance...try to project himself as alternative to PM Modi in 2024."
