Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, on Thursday, has released the official lists for the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) 2021 for institutions and universities across the country. The complete list of rankings has been updated on the official website of NIRF for the academic year 2021-22.

Today, the sixth edition of the NIRF rankings 2021 of universities was announced by the education minister at noon. The rankings have been released under 11 categories which are- Overall, University, Management, College, Pharmacy, Medical, Engineering, Architecture, ARIIA (Atal Ranking of Institutions on Innovation Achievements), Law, and Research Institutions.

This year, the Research Institutions category has been newly added. IIT Madras has topped the list in the overall category this year, along with topping the list in the engineering category. Read the list of top colleges and universities below.
