The President today rejected the mercy petition of Nirbhaya case convict Pawan Gupta paving the way for hanging of all four. A Delhi court had deferred till further orders the March 3 execution of the four convicts after one of the convicts Pawan Gupta filed mercy petition before the president. Earlier, on Monday, the Supreme Court had rejected the curative petition filed by Pawan Gupta.
