Wanted diamantaire Nira Modi has been tracked down to a swanky £8 million (Rs 73 crore) flat in London’s West End donning a £12,000 (Rs 11 lakh) jacket made of ostrich leather and running a new diamond business in Soho.
India had requested the UK government for his extradition in August 2018, and UK home secretary Sajid Javid was reported to have forwarded the case to Westminster Magistrate’s Court for consideration from the district judge on Thursday.
