The Gujarat government on Friday extended the night curfew, which is imposed between 12 am and 6 am, till November 10 in eight cities namely Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Jamnagar, Surat, Rajkot, Gandhinagar, Junagadh and Bhavnagar. The curbs were extended amid fears of a spike in COVID-19 cases during the festive season. Notably, commercial Garba events are banned due to the pandemic.
