Rishi Kumar Shukla took charge as the new director of the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). He was appointed CBII chief on Saturday. As the post of the CBI was lying vacant since Jan 10.

Shukla, 1983 batch IPS office of Madhya Pradesh, will serve his service for two years as per order issued by Personnel Ministry as his service tenure is completed in October 2020.
