Congress leader P Chidambaram's son Karti Chidambaram on Thursday denied knowing Indrani and Peter Mukerjea and said that he had no connection with them or their company.
Karti Chidambaram said that the arrest of his father was a move to tarnish the image of the Congress party and to silence the most vocal critic of the current government.
"It is being done to tarnish the image of the Congress party and to silence the most vehement critic of this government," Karti Chidambaram said.
