Nepal's newly elected President Ram Chandra Poudel has been admitted to Tribhuwan University Teaching Hospital in Kathmandu's Maharajgunj, ANI reported, quoting hospital authorities. According to the official statement from the hospital, Paudel complained about a stomach ache, after which he was brought to the hospital.
“He is under observation of the doctors and was admitted to the hospital late on Saturday,” a release from the hospital stated.
