With COVID-19 cases continuing to rise in Nashik district like in the rest of Maharashtra, Nashik Superintendent of Police Deepak Pandey has issued an order to impose restrictions with regard to access to markets.As per the order, entry to all markets has been restricted and barricades have been put up to control the number of footfalls.

Separate entry and exit points have been created at all markets using police barricades. Every person wishing to visit a market will have to purchase Rs 5 ticket to enter the market.Further, no one is allowed to stay inside a market for more than an hour. Any customer found inside the market for over an hour will be penalised with Rs 500, the order states.
