Popular hymn singer Narendra Chanchal has passed away. He breathed his last in Delhi on Friday at the age of 80. According to the report of Punjab Kesari, he died at Apollo Hospital in the city around 12 noon. He was unwell for the last three months. He was undergoing treatment.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has also mourned his death. The PM tweeted and wrote, ‘The news of the demise of popular Bhajan singer Narendra Chanchal ji is extremely sad. He made a mark in the world of singing hymns with his vibrant voice. My condolences to his family and fans in this hour of mourning.
