Madhya Pradesh is set to get “Low Alcoholic Beverage Bars”, a first of its kind that will come into effect from April 1, this year. Liquor sales will be restricted in 19 places in the state, including 17 holy cities under the new Excise Policy, an official said.
The new policy which was released on February 16 states that only beer, wine and ready-to-drink alcoholic beverages with a maximum alcohol content of 10 per cent V/V (volume on volume) will be allowed for consumption in these new bars.
