In bid to counter China’s ambitious Belt and Road initiative, the US has revived two major infrastructure projects in South and Southeast Asia in which India would be a vital player. Yesterday, in maiden annual budget of the Trump administration, a brief of the two projects was made available indicating India would play important role in ‘New Silk Road’ project.
