As India is gearing up to welcome US President Donald Trump, Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani on Monday said that more than 1 lakh people will be present in Motera Stadium in Ahmedabad during the ‘Namaste Trump’ event. He said the welcome event will be historic for the state.  Earlier in the day, talking about the preparations, Rupani said that US President Donald J Trump will be given a grand welcome on his arrival in Ahmedabad from Washington on February 24. “There is a lot of excitement over his arrival,” he added.
