Amid southwest monsoon's arrival in Delhi on Tuesday, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) data revealed that monsoon has hit the national capital 33 times in July since 1960. It arrived in Delhi 29 times in June. Last year, IMD had revised the monsoon's arrival date to June 27 from June 29. Delhi had recorded its most-delayed monsoon onset in 1987.
