Mobile internet services have been restored in Ladakh's Kargil district 145 days after it was suspended. The restrictions were imposed after revocation of Article 370 and bifurcation of the state of Jammu and Kashmir into two Union Territories - Ladakh and Jammu and Kashmir. Several politicians were also kept under house arrest to prevent unrest after revocation.
