The Haryana government on Monday made face masks mandatory in Gurugram, Faridabad, Sonipat and Jhajjar districts of the National Capital Region. This came amid a rise in COVID-19 cases in Gurugram which reported 198 fresh cases on Monday. Uttar Pradesh had earlier today made the wearing of face masks mandatory in Lucknow and six NCR districts.
