Prime Minister Narendra Modi lauded health workers for their 'tireless hard work' over vaccine success during his address to the nation on the 82nd edition of his monthly radio programme ‘Mann Ki Baat’ on Sunday.
As India crossed the 100 crore vaccine milestone on October 22, PM Modi called it a result of the hard work of lakhs of health workers. He expressed gratitude to every Indian "who gave such height and success to the 'Vaccine-Free Vaccine for All' campaign."
"I am aware of the capabilities of the people of my country. I knew that our healthcare workers would leave no stone unturned to vaccinate their countrymen. Today, after 100 crore Covid-19 vaccinations, the country is moving ahead with new energy. The success of our vaccination program shows the capability of India to the world," PM Modi said.
