Legendary hockey player Major Dhyan Chand's statue has been unveiled by his son Ashok Kumar in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh on the occasion of National Sports Day which is observed on the birth anniversary of the former.
This day, celebrated annually on August 29th to honor the birth anniversary of the man affectionately known as "The Wizard," has once again reminded the nation of the extraordinary legacy that Major Dhyan Chand left behind.
