Shiv Sena (Uddhav Thackeray) leader and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Raut on Saturday launched a blazing attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his 'Ek Hai, To Safe Hai' remark at a rally in Maharashtra on Friday.
"I don't understand the need for Prime Minister Narendra Modi to use such language. Their previous slogan 'Batenge toh katenge' failed in Maharashtra. So now, they have introduced this new slogan."
"People are already safe in Maharashtra, but whenever you [PM Modi] visit, the state becomes unsafe... because he instigates people and provokes unrest. This why we need to remove the BJP," Raut further said.
