Maharashtra Health Minister Rajesh Tope has advised everyone in the state to get tested for Covid-19 as ICU and oxygen beds are filling up fast with people coming to the hospitals in a bad state because of not getting tested in time. “I appeal to everyone to get tested,” Tope said. Due to the increasing number of coronavirus cases in the state, the state government has issued an order to oxygen producers to supply 80 per cent of oxygen for medical usage, while the rest 20 per cent will be available for other industrial purposes. As per the Maharashtra Health Department, the order will remain in force till June 30.
