Maharashtra government on Friday capped charges for black fungus or mucormycosis treatment at private hospitals. The per-day treatment charges for general wards have been capped at ₹4,000 for 'A-class' cities, at ₹3,000 for 'B-class' cities and at ₹2,400 for 'C-class' cities. Rates for ICU with and without ventilator in 'A-class' cities have been capped at ₹9,000 and ₹7,500, respectively.
