Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray said on Sunday the coronavirus situation is under control in the state and there was no need for the night curfew. Addressing a virtual press conference, Uddhav Thackeray said while the situation is under control, "people in Maharashtra will have to wear face masks for the next six months". On lockdown, Uddhav Thackeray said some people have suggested lockdown or night curfews but, he said, he was not in their favour. "Some people have suggested fresh lockdown or night curfew, but I am not in their favour. Some people are not wearing masks. They should not play with their and their families' lives,' Uddhav Thackeray said.
