After Ratan Tata passed on Wednesday night, the Maharashtra Cabinet has passed a resolution to urge the Centre to confer Bharat Ratna, India’s highest civilian award, to him in recognition of his achievements.The Cabinet also passed a condolence proposal on Ratan Tata’s demise. Tributes were paid to Padma Vibhushan Tata during the state cabinet meeting.
