Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray has inaugurated 'Project Platina', which the state government is calling the world's largest convalescent plasma therapy trial for the treatment of COVID-19. The project will benefit 500 COVID-19 patients in Maharashtra, said the Chief Minister's Office. It will be carried out in 17 medical colleges across Maharashtra and four medical colleges of BMC in Mumbai.
