The suspension of four Congress Lok Sabha members was revoked on Monday by Speaker Om Birla. However, Om Birla warned that he would take strict action if placards were displayed in the House again. Congress MPs Manickam Tagore, Ramya Haridas, Jothimani and TN Prathapan were suspended on July 25 for protesting and sloganeering with placards and posters.
