The 49 seats voting in phase 5 of Lok Sabha Elections registered 23.6 per cent voter turnout till 11 am, according to Election Commission of India.
West Bengal recorded highest with 33 per cent followed by Ladakh with 27.8 per cent, UP with 27.7 per cent, and Jharkhand with 26 per cent turnout, the poll panel said. The Baramulla seat in J&K recorded 21.3 per cent turnout till 11 am. Maharashtra recorded about 16 per cent turnout till 11 am.
