The first two hours of voting in 57 seats saw about 11.3 per cent voter turnout, the Election Commission of India said.
Himachal Pradesh recorded a voter turnout of about 14 per cent followed by Uttar Pradesh at 13 per cent, West Bengal 12.6 per cent and Jharkhand at 12 per cent. Bihar recorded a turnout of about 11 per cent till 9 am while Chandigarh UT saw a turnout of about 12 per cent till 9 am, according to Election Commission of India.
