Maharashtra minister Nawab Malik on Monday said that the state government cannot afford another lockdown. "We've asked CM (Uddhav Thackeray) to consider other options. Due to rising cases, he has directed the administration to prepare for lockdown but that doesn't mean that lockdown is inevitable," he added. "If people follow rules, it can be avoided," Malik further said.
