Indian Air Force Chief, B S Dhanoa, in a letter to all nearly 12,000 IAF officers, asking to ‘be prepared for operations at short notice’. He said in the letter that they need to stay well ahead of new technological advancements with reference to the “sub-conventional threat” that is always there. He also spoke about the shortfall in fighter squadrons.
