A leopard was trying to pounce on a dog and both fell into a well at a village in Amreli district on Thursday. Both the hunter and the prey had to spend four hours inside the well before they were rescued. The incident happened at Nava Vaghaniya village of Bagasra town in Amreli. The leopard wanted to kill the dog, but fell into the well along with its prey in the farm house of Kishorbhai Dabhi. Before the forest departmentstaff arrived for rescue, the villagers gathered to see the big cat and the dog together. The animals were finally rescued with the help of ropes.
