Kiran Rao’s directorial venture ‘Laapataa Ladies’ has made it to Oscars 2025 as India’s official entry. The Film Federation of India (FFI), the apex body responsible for selecting the country’s official entry to the 97th Academy Awards, on Monday, confirmed that Laapataa Ladies is India’s official entry for Oscars 2025.
Directed by Kiran Rao and produced by Aamir Khan, the film features Pratibha Ranta, Sparsh Srivastava, and Nitanshi Goel in key roles.
