Comedian Kunal Kamra has hit back at music company T-Series after it allegedly blocked the visibility of his controversial stand-up video, Naya Bharat: A Comedy Special, on YouTube. Kamra's reaction came after he sparked a controversy over his 'gaddar' (traitor) jab at Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde without naming him during a performance in Mumbai.
In a scathing comment on X, Kamra wrote, "Hello @TSeries, stop being a stooge. Parody and Satire comes under fair use legally. I haven’t used the lyrics or the original instrumental of the song. If you take this video down every cover song/dance video can be taken down. Creators please take a note of it (sic)."
