Days after the Uttar Pradesh Police arrested three men plotting to assassinate former Punjab chief minister Parkash Singh Badal, Bikaner police nabbed the mastermind behind the nefarious plan on Thursday. The accused had been hiding in Kolayat area of Bikaner after the UP Police arrested his aides. The terrorists had recently shot a police home guard volunteer and snatched an Insas rifle along with a .303 rifle belonging to UP Police. Identified as 24-year-old German Singh, a resident of Ajeejpur near Shamli, the terrorist was arrested from a Gurudwara in Kolayat on Thursday. He is affiliated with the banned terror outfit Khalistan Liberation Force (KLF), Rajasthan Police officers said.
