AIMPLB fears triple talaq may reappear if debated or challenged in the Supreme Court. Its lawyer Kapil Sibal said that as Triple Talaq is practiced by a "minuscule portion" of the Muslim community and its confrontation in the Supreme court, could lead to a backlash in the community, which might see its rights as being violated.
