Uttar Pradesh police filed chargesheet against 13 persons in connection with the murder of Hindu Samaj Party leader Kamlesh Tiwari on. The chargesheet was filed at a local court in Lucknow. Two of the accused, Ashraf and Moinuddin, have been charged with murder. Kamlesh Tiwari was shot dead at his residence in Khurshed Bagh area of Lucknow on October 18, 2019. According to reports, eleven of these accused are presently in jail. One person, Kaifi Ali, is out on bail, while Tanveer, a resident of Nepal who had allegedly sheltered the two alleged killers is absconding.
