Bollywood actress Kajol Sister, Actress Tanishaa Mukerji has alleged that she faced racism in New York while she was partying with friends in The Jane Hotel. Tanishaa was in New York to attend the CRY America charity gala dinner. Opening up about the incident, the actress recalled that the incident took place when she was attending a party at the hotel with her friends and one of the African-American employees made insensitive remarks about her.

The actress said that she is clueless as to what triggered it as she was very polite. According to reports, an African-American employee said that they looked as if they were fresh off the boat and couldn't speak English. Describing it as a traumatic experience, she said that no one from the hotel authorities helped them even after complaining.

The actress also took to Twitter, to write about her experience. She wrote, "Racist horrible people."
