President Ram Nath Kovind has appointed Justice Sharad Arvind Bobde as the 47th Chief Justice of India and he is set to take oath on November 18. His name was recommended by Chief Justice of India Ranjan Gogoi earlier this month. Notably, Justice Bobde had headed the committee that investigated the sexual harassment allegations against CJI Gogoi.
