Jagat Prakash Nadda was elected unopposed as the national president of the Bharatiya Janata Party on Monday, taking over the reins of the party from Amit Shah. Nadda was appointed as the BJP working president after Amit Shah’s elevation to the Cabinet as Home Minister last year. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will also arrive at the party headquarters to felicitate him in the evening.
