Taking potshots at Prime Minister Narendra Modi's call for making 'toys for the world', Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Sunday said college students protesting the conduct of JEE and NEET exams during the Covid crisis would have preferred a 'pariksha pe charcha' rather than 'khilona pe charcha'.
''JEE-NEET aspirants wanted the PM do 'Pariksha Pe Charcha' but the PM did 'Khilone Pe Charcha','' Mr Gandhi said in his tweet. Maintaining that there is a rich tradition of local toys in the country, Prime Minister Modi called for developing toy clusters in India to make the nation a toy hub.
