Japan on Wednesday reported that the first waves of tsunami have struck two of its southern islands after a strong 7.2 magnitude earthquake hit Taiwan. Taiwan's Hualien witnessed heavy damages to the buildings as multiple shock waves followed after a strong earthquake.
