At least 13 passengers died after they jumped from a Mumbai-bound train in panic due to a false fire alarm, only to be tragically run over by another train on the adjacent tracks in Maharashtra's Jalgaon, officials said. The Centre has announced ex gratia payments of Rs 1.5 lakh to the families of each deceased victim.
