Prime Minister Narendra Modi today (December 20) offered condolences to the families of the victims of the Jaipur fire incident, resulting in the death of at least 11 people. The PM also announced an ex-gratia of Rs 2 lakh for the families of the deceased as well as Rs 50,000 for those injured in the incident.
Prime Minister's Office in a post on social media platform X, "Deeply saddened by the loss of lives in the accident on Jaipur-Ajmer highway in Rajasthan. Condolences to those who lost their loved ones. May the injured recover soon. The local administration is assisting those affected".
