BJP chief JP Nadda on Saturday announced that West Bengal Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar is NDA's candidate for the post of the Vice President of India. The announcement was made after a BJP parliamentary board meeting held in Delhi. Dhankhar is a "kisan putra" (son of a farmer) who established himself as "people's Governor", Nadda said.
