The J&K government on Friday issued fresh guidelines for those visiting the Mata Vaishno Devi shrine to avoid the spread of COVID-19. As per the guidelines, pilgrims have to furnish negative RT-PCR reports, not older than 72 hours, on arrival. Only visitors having no COVID-19 symptoms will be allowed and premises of shrine must be sanitised thoroughly, the order read.
