The Jammu and Kashmir administration on Sunday allowed the reopening of schools for students of classes 10 and 12 and higher educational institutions with certain restrictions. While parents are required to provide consent for children to attend school, classes can function at only 50% capacity. It permitted higher education institutions to start classes for fully vaccinated staff and students.
