The anointment of Rahul Gandhi as Congress president have now been official today as “no other” candidate have fielded for the post. The returning officer of the AICC has issued a ‘scrutiny report’ saying that they have scrutinize all 89 nomination papers received from all the states and that all are valid. It further said that Rahul Gandhi only validly nominated candidate for the post of Congress president. Hence now it is clear that decks are cleared for Rahul Gandhi’s anointment very soon, may be on December 11.
