Union Minister Smriti Irani has been assigned the charge of Ministry of Minority Affairs in addition to her existing portfolio of Women and Child Development after Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi's resignation. Meanwhile, Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia has been assigned the additional charge of Ministry of Steel charge after Union Minister RCP Singh resigned.
