The Supreme Court on Tuesday extended the CBI remand till 5 September of senior Congress leader P Chidambaram in the INX Media corruption case while adding that the leader will not be sent to Tihar Jail as of now.
During the hearing of the interim bail plea, the Supreme Court said Chidambaram will remain in police custody till September 5. The application against arrest warrant will now be heard on September 5.
